The Milanese designer, Dominioni, was born in 1913. After graduating as an architect from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1936, he began his career in Venice. He came to be considered as a Pioneer of Industrial design because of his innovative radios that were designed in co-operation with the Castiglioni brothers. Together with Gardella and Corradi, Azucena the group later designed a collection of furniture and objects in the mid-20th century. "Caccia Cutlery” is now displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
